The musical Wicked means a lot, to a lot of people. Especially when it comes to LGBTQ+ people, it’s full of themes many of us can relate to.
If you asked us to boil it down to one song, I think many of us would say the same.
For Good is a beautiful celebration of friendship and love for those who have had an impact on us.
In November, as the second Wicked film was released, we all channelled our inner Elphaba or Glinda, wore the show’s signature colours pink or green (or both!) and recorded our own version of Kirby Shaw’s arrangement of this beautiful track, originally written by Stephen Schwarz.
This was performed at Hallé St Peter’s in Ancoats, recorded by Fintan White and conducted by our fabulous musical director, Dan McDwyer.
