Over the past 20 years, Manchester Proud Chorus have supported our friends at George House Trust with a performance at the Beacon of Hope in Sackville Gardens on World AIDS Day. Come together to support people who are HIV+. Preventing their discrimination is at the very heart of what Manchester Proud Chorus stands for.
World AIDS Day, held annually on 1 December since 1988, is an international day dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV, and mourning those we lost.
We will perform at the Beacon of Hope in Sackville Gardens during the candlelit procession though the Village. We will then perform at Eagle Bar straight afterward.
